Earthquake
I have had a lot of people contact me worried that I might be int he area of the earthquake. I am thankful that I wasn’t. The area that was hit was sichuan, some ways away from me but the magitude of the quake was so large that we did have tremors where we live. I have been seeing a lot of the coverage on the news, the roads are tore up so bad that they are using the waterways to reach people. So sad to see such destruction, especially there because it is already such a poor region. I have a friend whose family lives there and I pray they are alright. They lived int he mountains so I don’t know how they are doing. Keep all the people in your prayers.
I’m huge on world news. This is terrible. Makes me absolutely sad and frightened for everyone over there. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone. Thank goodness you are okay.
That is good news that you are safe and well. I am praying for the poor people who are not safe and well. Thanks for letting us know!
Thanks for letting us now Rachel. It is so sad watching the youngsters being pulled from the rubble of their schools, knowing there are so many left…their parents must be mad with grief. My heart goes out to them. And my prayers.
Thank you for letting us know! My sister and I were just saying this weekend how strange all these natural disasters are…and how they seem to be getting worse and coming more quickly!
I am glad you are ok!
It’s such a terrible event. I’m glad your family is safe. We must pray for them, so scary to think how many people were injured or lost.
Thanks so much for updating us. When I hear about this kind of tragedy all of the petty stuff I keep whinny about everyday becomes so trivial. I keep everyone effected by this on my prayer list.
